    Book Excerpt
Interesting point ---"good-enough" to be workable. Yes, I believe this is a good and valid point. I also feel both people need to give-and-take with much respect for each other, respect for one's self, inner security, and a willingness to place their love for each other in all areas of difference. I have been divorced for three years, and I have found what I am looking for in a relationship. I have a wonderful family-three sisters-all married for years and no divorces. I have seen their relationships and deciphered this (as their secret to success): Balance, stability of one's inner self, mutual interests, and the give and take.

Premarital Counseling for yourself and for family members
think this is a great idea... I see so many couples that threaten divorce every time they get mad and it really makes me mad. Do not threaten unless you are ready to follow suit. Too many folks think they have to wait till there are problems in the marriage before seeing counselors when they could have started with one right off the bat. Solve the problem before it becomes to overwhelming. Thanks for the article. http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp?articleId=281474976909832

My husband is a minister and he will not preform a ceremony for any couple who first will not sit down and go through some premarital counseling with him .Couples need to go into marriage with their eyes wide open, and premarital counseling provides that avenue. http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp?articleId=281474976909832
